‘Happy Sunday a relief for people burdened with work’
The Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) conducted Happy Sunday programme in NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium here, to create recreation to the citizens tired with the routine work in the week.
Guntur: The Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) conducted Happy Sunday programme in NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium here, to create recreation to the citizens tired with the routine work in the week.
The students of various colleges danced to the film songs and various tunes. Some students performed folk dance, Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam, solo dances and group dance. The dance programme by the students attracted the audience. Later, they created awareness on girls education, greenery development, sanitation and Swachh Survektion.
Speaking on this occasion, the Guntur Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner, K Ramachandra Reddy said that Anandalahari programme would give relief to the people burdened with the work during week days. He urged the people to participate in the programme.
Later, they observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to sudden death of actor Sridevi. Deputy Commissioner D Srinivas and Jesudas were among those participated.
