Rotary Blood Bank felicitates Bobby
Rotary Blood Bank felicitated blood donation propagator, TDP leader and Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana (Bobby) for his outstanding services and contribution in propagating the importance of blood donation and setting up blood donation camps in the district on Rotary Blood Bank premises here on Sunday.
Kakinada: Rotary Blood Bank felicitated blood donation propagator, TDP leader and Vigilance and Monitoring Committee member Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana (Bobby) for his outstanding services and contribution in propagating the importance of blood donation and setting up blood donation camps in the district on Rotary Blood Bank premises here on Sunday.
Speaking on this occasion, Bobby said that he had been propagating the importance of blood donation since 2008 and informed that he himself donated blood more than 50 times. He had been playing key role in collecting blood and every year he was collecting 200 to 300 units of blood on an average. Bobby expressed joy over the felicitation and said that this award and felicitation increased his responsibility towards society. He stated that every healthy individual should donate blood for the sake of a healthy nation.
He also informed that besides collecting blood, he had been doing various philanthropic and welfare programmes for the poor in society. Dr Kamaraju of Rotary Blood Bank, president Balabhadra Raju, secretary Srinivas, treasurer Varma and others participated.
