Rajamahendravaram: BC Welfare Association is planning to launch a new political party for BCs only and the association will take a decision in a meeting scheduled to be held in Vijayawada on April 26.

According to the association state president, Kesana Sankar Rao, only some BC were enjoying the power though there were 60 percent of BCs in the country. The BCs would march ahead to capture power in the coming days.

“A separate party is very much needed to BCs to protect their rights. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has failed to table the bill in the Parliament relating to OBC reservations,” he alleged.

The association would extend its support to BC candidates cutting across party lines in the ensuing Assembly and general elections, he revealed.The BCs would prove their might in the forthcoming elections. The association would be strengthened to face the elections.
