SRKR students get scholarships in Bhimavaram
Two students studying electronics and communication engineering ECE final year and Information Technology IT at SRKR Engineering College here were given scholarship of Rs 25,000 each by the college alumni O Bharat, vicepresident of Shartel USA
Bhimavaram: Two students studying electronics and communication engineering (ECE) final year and Information Technology (IT) at SRKR Engineering College here were given scholarship of Rs 25,000 each by the college alumni O Bharat, vice-president of Shartel (USA).
They were given the scholarship for their outstanding performance in their studies at a programme at the college campus here on Thursday, according to college correspondent Sagi Vitta Ranga Raju.
He said that Ragireddy Devipriya pursuing final year ECE secured 9.14 per cent marks and Gada Saranya, pursuing IT had secured 9.10 per cent were given scholarship on the occasion.
He said that Bharat is college alumni and in the name of his grandmother O Bala Tripurasundari, scholarships to merit students are given every year.
Bharat’s father Retd Naval Commander OR Murthy, ECE HoD Dr PV Rama Raju, S Venkateswara Rao, BH Ramakrishna Raju and others were present.
