Anantapuramu: The District Police Officers Union severely responded to the attacks on police personnel in the district for some time. Union president and secretary Trilok and Gorantla Madhav held a press meeting at the Police Conference Hall in the town on Saturday. They said police are enemies to neither political parties nor common people but will always work for peace and tranquility. They warned of taking all legal steps if the same attacks continue in future.
