Hyderabad: Southern actress Anjali, whose whereabouts are still not known, spoke to her brother Ravi Shankar over phone on Thursday and said that she was safe. She informed her brother that she would get back to work in the next two days and attend for film shoots, giving much relief to the producers of the movies she was signed in. In a telephonic conversation, Anjali who acted in Telugu film 'Sitamma Vakitlo Seeremalle Chettu' along with super star Venkatesh, said that she was being accompanied by a person after she disappeared from a city based Daspalla Hotel in Gachibowli on Monday. Anjali said that she was forced to take this step as she was being harassed and battered by her adoptive parents Bharti Devi and Suri Babu. West zone deputy commissioner of police G Sudhir Babu told reporters that the actress was not kidnapped and she had left the hotel on her own.
