Tainted ministers should be sacked from the cabinet immediately demanded a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation led by the party's national vice president Bandaru Dattatreya that met Governor ESL Narasimhan and submitted a memorandum to him at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
The Governor should intervene in this issue since Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy himself has been trying to shield the tainted ministers, said the saffron party leaders.
In the memorandum, the BJP delegation stated that there could not be two different laws in the country, one for the common people and another one for the policy makers. The tainted ministers were continuing in the cabinet even after receiving Supreme Court notices and copies of chargesheets from the CBI, which was against the rule of law and principles of natural justice, Dattatreya told the Governor.
