Telangana MPs Likely to Meet on Nov 13, 14, Congress MPs representing the Telangana region are likely to meet in New Delhi on November 13 or 14 to discuss future course of action on the contentious issue,
Karimnagar: Congress MPs representing the Telangana region are likely to meet in New Delhi on November 13 or 14 to discuss future course of action on the contentious issue, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar said today.
Talking to the media, Prabhakar said that the MPs from the Congress party representing Telangana would demand a separate state of Telangana with 10 districts which includes Hyderabad as the capital city.
Prabhakar said: “We need a Telangana state with 10 districts, 17 Lok Sabha seats and 119 assembly segments. We will appeal to Congress President Sonia Gandhi to declare Telangana without any conditions. We have full confidence in Sonia Gandhi”.
The buzz is why the party has scheduled its meeting on Nov 13/ 14 as the GoM too is holding meet on the same days. Is there a connection between the two? That we will get to know only on the 13 of this month.
