Assembly to Meet on Dec 2 or 3, Telangana Bill. It is understood that all the members who would like to speak on the Bill will be given a chance to express their views on the issue.
Hyderabad: The State Assembly is likely to meet on December 2 or 3 to discuss the draft T Bill.
According to sources, Speaker N Manohar had a meeting with Assembly secretariat to review the arrangements. It is said that he has instructed the Assembly secretariat to see that the voting machines too were kept in a state of preparedness. It is learnt that the Congress high command had already instructed the Minister for Legislative Affairs not to go ahead with the process of proroguing the Assembly. AICC in charge of state affairs Digvijay Singh also had been in close contact with the Speaker and MLAs who had fallen in line with the party decision to divide the state to ensure that the process of discussing the draft T Bill was completed without any problem.
It is understood that all the members who would like to speak on the Bill will be given a chance to express their views on the issue.
