It will organise ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ in December

Hyderabad: Telangana Praja Front (TPF) on Tuesday gave a call for ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ agitation programme in second week of December to thwart the attempts of Seemandhra lobby regarding Hyderabad, Bhadrachalam, Polavaram project and other issues.

The Front appealed to students, employees, advocates, pro-Telangana groups and public organisations to support and take part in it.

Addressing a press conference here, TPF vice-president M Vedakumar charged Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress President Jaganmohan Reddy with pulling every trick out of their bag to stall the Telangana process. “A few leaders even took to anti-Telangana campaign throughout the country by luring regional and national parties with monetary benefits to the tune of crores of rupees,” he alleged.
“TPF vehemently opposes the Rayala Telangana proposal which has been doing the rounds for the last few days,” he said. He lashed out at Telangana leaders in Congress and TDP as well as pro-Telangana parties for keeping silent, although the Union government was creating confusion in the minds of the people by issuing different statements every day on the bifurcation issue.

Rayala T proposal baseless
Terming the Rayala Telangana proposal baseless, Telangana IT Association (TITA) opined that any such move would have a serious bearing on the growth of the IT corridor in Rayalaseema region. Its president Sundeep Makthala pointed out that the ITIR (Information Technology Investment Region) projects recently allotted for Chittoor and Anantapur district would help software professionals from Rayalaseema immensely in the future. Against this backdrop, dividing Rayalaseema for political gains was uncalled for, he said.
