Hyderabad: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said on Tuesday that an all-party meeting would be convened to discuss the adverse affects of the Brijesh Kumar Tribunal award on Andhra Pradesh. Interacting with a delegation of leaders representing different peasant bodies, he announced that the interests of the farmers would be safeguarded by all means.
The Chief Minister informed them that the Supreme court would be moved to prevent gazette publication of the verdict. Rythu Sangh working president and former MLA K Ramakrishna, Rythu Sangh general secretary Ravula Venkaiah, CPI MLA U Yadagiri Rao, CPM MLA Julakanti Rangareddy, Telugu Raithu general secretary N Venkateshwarlu, AP Rythu Sangh (CPI) president Pasya Padma, AP Raithu Sangh (CPM) president Chandra Reddy, general secretary V Subba Rao, vice-president T Ramakrishna and others were present.
