The accused called as Dr. M Abul Hasan Bhupathi was detained by Hanamkonda police and Sri Sai Hospital being run by the accused near Hanamkonda bus stand was seized.

He was said to have been claiming himself as consultant endocrinologist with specialization degrees DM and FRCP (UK). He was just having an MBBS degree from Tamil Nadu state.
Moreover, he was neither registered his degree with Andhra Pradesh Council and Indian Medical Council nor with the local authorities which was mandatory for medical practice and that has made his practice completely illegal the authorities said.
