Atmakur: Union Minister Kotla Jayasurya Prakash Reddy while blaming all parties for the ‘sin’ of dividing the State, asserted that he would strive for securing Kurnool as the Seemandhra capital, if Telangana was formed.
Talking to press persons here, he observed that although the Centre was going ahead with the process of Telangana formation, as per the CWC resolution, constitutionally the State’s division was not possible. He expressed confidence that the creation of new State would be stopped.
Although he had agreed the Rayala-Telangana proposal, it was dropped after BJP raised objections. The Minister stated that the division process could be taken up after only after clarity emerged on the problems of Seemandhra people and solutions were found.
