VH flays Kiran for not turning up to pay homage

Hyderabad: The death anniversary of former Prime Minister from AP State PV Narasimha Rao was observed by party leaders and family members at PV Ghat at Necklace Road in Hyderabad on Monday. Party veteran and MP V Hanumantha Rao, Minister Ponnala Laxmaiah and chairman Official Language Commission Mandali Buddha Prasad and several family members paid respects to the Narasimha Rao. Hanumantha Rao who awaited the arrival of the Chief Minister lost his cool and at around 10 pm, lit the lamp and paid tributes to former Prime Minister.

The failure of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar to turn up at PV Ghat irked Congress party veteran, who questioned his commitment to Unified State and said that it showed the ‘prejudicial’ attitude of Chief Minister to Telangana leaders. Referring to his boastful outbursts expressing loyalty to entire Telugus, VH demanded that the Chief Minister to change his attitude. “Is he not aware of paying respects to the former Prime Minister?” He questioned. Moreover, he said that for most of the programmes CM turns up late, but for this he completely failed to turn up. He asked him to change his attitude at least from now on.
