On Wednesday morning, it was learnt that an ATM thief was seen near a SBI ATM in Rayadurgam. This led for chaos in the town. The police at once got alerted and carried out a search operation.
According to the sources, on Wednesday morning, at around 10 a.m. a man went to a nearby SBI ATM to withdraw money. As he resembled the ATM accused, the security guard, Poola Chandrasekhar started shouting. The person immediately took his bike and ran away from the spot. The security guard immediately informed the matter to the police.
The police carried out a search operation to catch the accused. Later, in the evening the security guard had shown a person to the police telling that he was the same person who entered the ATM in the morning. The police revealed that he is not the same person but resembles the ATM thief.
