Will Galla Aruna Kumari join TDP?

According to the sources, Galla Aruna Kumari is likely to leave the Congress party to join Telugu Desam Party. It is learnt that she made all arrangements for her son to get TDP ticket to contest for MP seat from Guntur parliament constituency. It is also learnt that already the Telugu Desam Party president, Chandrababu Naidu has reserved the Guntur MP ticket for her son, Jayadev.

Galla Aruna Kumari has played a key role in Chittoor district politics. A very strong rumor is going around the political circles that Jayadev will shortly join the Telugu Desam Party. Supporting the same, in the recent past Galla Jayadev along with his uncle, Adiseshagiri Rao called on the TDP president, Chandrababu Naidu.

For last three generations Galla’s family members have been the loyalists of Congress Party. Paturi Rajagopal, father of Galla Aruna Kumari worked as the Member of Parliament of Chittoor constituency. Later on, Galla entered politics as Rajagopal’s heir. She wanted the MP seat; but had to compromise with MLA seat. She has the experience of working with three chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh. She wanted to get MP ticket for her son Jayadev to contest from Tirupati, in the recently held by-elections. But, she failed to succeed.

Due to the ongoing issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, now, Aruna Kumari has come to the conclusion that there will not be any use of getting a congress ticket for her son in Tirupati. More over, two MP seats in Chittoor have been reserved. She has made it a note that except for loss of money such an attempt will not get any laurels for them.

According to the sources, shortly, Galla Aruna Kumari will also join Telugu Desam Party.
