4 killed as car rams into parked lorry
4 killed as car rams into parked lorry, Accidendt at Nakrekal. The injured, Boddu Nagaiah and Konda Srinu, were admitted to Kamineni Hospital.
Nalgonda: Four persons were killed and two others sustained serious injuries when a car in which they were travelling from Suryapet to the town hit a parked lorry from behind on the outskirts of Nakrekal on Saturday afternoon.
The mishap was caused after a tyre burst and the driver lost control of the vehicle, according to the preliminary investigation. It occurred near the bypass road on the National Highway 65. The victims—Nukala Narsi Reddy of Reddy Engineering Works, Vasampalli Linga Reddy (Madhavi Engineering Works), Kodati Jagan(Srinivasa Engineering Works) and Narsi Reddy (Sairam Engineering Works)--- belonged to Suryapet.
They were returning to Suryapet after attending a meeting here. Srinivasa Rao, CI, said the bodies were shifted to the Nakrekal government hospital for post-mortem. Later they would handed over to the relatives.
The injured, Boddu Nagaiah and Konda Srinu, were admitted to Kamineni Hospital.
