Anam rules out CM floating new party, Anam Vivekananda Reddy, BJP leaders. He announced Rs 18 crore funds for the development of Nellore rural and urban constituencies.

Nellore: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has no intention to float a new party, said Nellore Rural MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy. The flexis that surfaced across the Seemandhra region might be set up by the APNGOs, he opined.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said: “We can assume that the State may not be divided after watching speeches delivered by the BJP leaders at the party executive meeting.”

He cautioned the people not to be carried away with the rumours being spread that he and his family members may switch over their loyalties to other parties. Similarly, he refuted the news holding discussions with TDP chief N Chandrababu Nadiu in this regard.

He announced Rs 18 crore funds for the development of Nellore rural and urban constituencies.

He lambasted the leaders for indulging mud-slinging, as they were unable to digest that the development was done by them. In fact, the development works with Rs 2,011 crore was taken up in Nellore district, he pointed out.

Some persons were leveling allegations stating that misappropriation of funds was done in laying of roads. If anybody found the roads were being laid with inferior quality material, they can bring it to his notice, he asserted. If it was proved right, he said that he would initiate action against the contractors.

He has called upon the people to strive for polio-free society.
