Prof K. NageshwarThe eminent Mass Communication Professor of Osmania University and sitting MLC, Prof Nageshwar on Thursday said that the bifurcation process will not be stopped till the time the Congress Party and BJP supports the Telangana formation.

He opined that the constitutional guidelines and politics should not be mixed together. Prof Nageshwar said the bill was sent to the state assembly in the spirit of the Constitution of Republic of India; and parliament is the ultimate authority to take any action on the bill. He said the state assembly has the only role of giving the views and voting was not intended.

Further, Prof Nageshwar said the Congress party at present has internal tussles. Further, he said so far the Congress party has abided by their decision of dividing the state. But, said Nageshwar, how far the party would remain on their stance is the question that bothers. He said the bifurcation will not stop till the time the Congress high command will remain on their stand.
