Hyderabad: With the Union government going ahead with the process for formation of Telangana, APNGOs have decided to up the ante beginning with an indefinite strike from February 5 midnight. They have also resolved to conduct a slew of protest programmes including a three-day state bandh from February 10 to 12.

The Samaikya Parirakshana Vedika comprising government employees, teachers, advocates and students among others met at APNGOs home in Abids on Monday to decide about its future course of programme.

Speaking to reporters in the evening after lengthy discussions all through the day, APNGOs president Ashok Babu stated that they would serve strike notice to Chief Secretary at 11.30 am on Tuesday.

The integrationist’s forum has resolved to hold various agitation programmes from February 5 to 21, the dates fixed for the Parliament session. This includes a three-day bandh from February 10-12, and ‘Chalo Delhi’ protest from February 17-19 besides laying siege to MPs residences on February 7, 8 and 9.
