Telangana bill introduced in Loksabha

Amidst a lot of protest from the Seemandhra MPs, Telangana bill was introduced by the Union Home minister as item no 28 on Thursday. Before the opinion of the MPs was recorded, the house was adjourned as one of the suspended Congress MP L Rajagopal who was standing in the well of the house, took out a bottle of pepper spray and had sprayed it all around the house, leading to the adjournment of the house.

On Thursday, the Seemandhra ministers have repeated the scene of Wednesday. The other union ministers called on the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to discuss the measures to be adopted in the Parliament to restrain the Seemandhra ministers. The Seemandhra ministers have been clearly passed on the instructions to not cause any hurdles to the parliamentary proceedings. Despite the clear instructions, Kavuri Samba Siva Rao, Purandareshwari, Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, Killi Kripa Rani rushed into the well to carryout a protest.

From the other end, the TDP MLA Payyavula Keshav said the state bifurcation issue has become an issue beyond state matter and turned to be a national issue. He said the bill was introduced in a doctorial way instead of a democratic way. He said it was not a good symptom of any democratic nation. He praised the efforts put up by the Seemandhra MPs.

The security forces have been instructed by the Loksabha speaker to keep an eye on Sabbam Hari and two other MPs as they have early warned to commit suicide in case the bill was introduced in the Loksbaha.
