Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party has devised plans to reach out to public in ten districts and claim credit for formation of Telangana state. It will hold a big public meeting in Hyderabad inviting party senior leader Sushma Swaraj in this connection. This meeting is likely to be held between March 1-3 at either LB Stadium or Nizam College Ground. Office bearers, district presidents and national executive members from Telangana region met for the first time at party office on Sunday after Telangana bill got the nod of both houses of parliament.
The meeting decided to hold a special campaign at mandal level in all districts for a week wherein party leaders would enlighten public about the key role of BJP in realization of T statehood dream, conduct meetings besides thanking TJAC members in districts. The dates for this programme and Sushma Swaraj meeting will be announced in a day or two, party leaders said.
The meeting adopted few resolutions-remembering sacrifices of martyrs from 1969 till date, exert pressure on Telangana government to provide all types of assistance to martyrs families on this occasion.
