JN Mehta passes away
Hyderabad: Jagat Singh Mehta (92), the former Foreign Secretary died on Friday at his residence. He served as the Foreign Secretary during 1976-79. He was conferred with Padma Bhushan in the year 2002.
He also served the nation as High Commissioner of Tanzania. JN Mehta was an alumnus of Allahabad and Cambridge universities.
