Gadwal (Mahabubnagar): Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao has expressed happiness for achieving the State of Telangana while he was representing Mahabubnagar parliament seat. Addressing the public meeting at Teru Maidan here on Thursday the TRS chief said that he would not take rest till he turned the Palamuru district lush green. Assuring the farmers over the supply of irrigation water to the fields, he said that he would stay at RDS ayacut for implementing his promise.

KCR said he would strive to achieve peace at Gadwal by putting an end to faction politics. Stating he would allot Rs 10,000 crore for the development of dalits every year, he said Boya and Valmiki communities in Telangana would be included in the Scheduled Castes list. He also said that Tandas would be recognized as special panchayats. The TRS chief said that a budget with Rs 1,000 crore would be earmarked for the development of minorities who would be provided with 12 per cent reservations. KCR said that every year 14 lakh acres would be brought under cultivation.

He assured that the problems of the Anganwadis would be solved after the elections. The TRS chief said that YSRCP leader Krishnamohan Reddy who joined TRS along with his followers would be given party ticket for Gadwal and Gattu Bhimudu would become an MLC. He further promised several welfare programmes for the development of the poor.
