Hyderabad: “Everything for State division should be kept in place in perfect and precise manner by May 15, 2014. Both the governments- Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh – should continue their governance without any hiccups”, this is the message given by Governor E S L Narasimhan to the officials.
Reviewing the division process with the Chief Secretary P K Mohanty and heads of different committees working on various subjects at Raj Bhavan on Saturday, Narasimhan said that the welfare schemes being implemented in Andhra Pradesh should not be disturbed after division and they should continue in both the States. He said that all the committees should work with coordination and decisions should be transparency. “No employee from either of the states should feel let down or subjected to injustice,” he observed. Referring to the Kamalanathan Committee, he said that the reorganization cell should submit the files, feedback and other material to the committee whenever they were asked for. He said that the subject being dealt by Kamalanathan committee was related to all the employees of the state.
“But, one thing must be kept in mind. There should not be any deviation from the suggestions given by Union Home Affairs Secretary Anil Goswami”, Governor said.
On the need for speeding up of the process, he said that the officials working on committees should speed up the work on division of assets and buildings for placing the system in place in the two states, providing all the required files and buildings to the two states by June 2, 2014, the Appointed Day.
For that, these committees should complete their work by May 15. The Reorganization Cell officials made a presentation on the work process and the system adopted in dividing the employees between the two States.
