ZPTC, MPTC elections on April 6, 11

Delhi: The ongoing quandary regarding the ZPTC and MPTC elections have been finally become unambiguous on Thursday with the Election Commission has decided to conduct the polls on April 6 and April 11, respectively.

To this extent the EC has informed the Supreme Court. The EC has even informed the honourable court that the results will be declared on April 13. Nevertheless, the petitioner has objected for the date of declaration of the results. He argued that if the results would be declared on April 13 as mentioned by the EC, the same might have an impact on the looming general elections. The Supreme Court has agreed with the argument of the petitioner and instructed the EC to declare the results after May 7.
