Stampede at Bhadrachalam Temple

Thanks to Rama Navami celebrations, devotees have been thronging the historic Rama temple in Bhadrachalam.

However, it appears that there was a lapse in security arrangements as they could not control the huge inflow of devotees.

According to latest reports coming in, there was a stampede when a few devotees tried to break the queue in a hurry to get the darshan of the god.

It is learnt that the cops used lathicharge to break the chaos.
