Nama receives flak from BCs

Khammam: Nama Nageshwar Rao, the Telugu Desam Party MP, received flak from BCs. On Friday, the Telugu Desam Party BC leaders have hurdled the campaigning of Nama in Khammam, stating that injustice was done to BCs in the allocation of assembly seat of Kottagudem constituency.

The BCs chanted anti-slogans of Nama. They protested against the allocation of Kottagudem seat to upper caste entrant. The situation turned violent, which was normalized by the intervention of the local police. The protestors were convinced to go back by the police to normalize the situation.
