Hyderabad: Dr Lokeswara Rao Sajja, senior cardiothoracic surgeon, Star Hospitals, received the prestigious American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) membership for his proven record in the field of cardiothoracic surgery.
He is the fourth cardiac surgeon to reach this milestone from India and the first from the State. The AATS is an international organisation of over 1,300 of the world's foremost cardiothoracic surgeons representing 41 countries.
