Car catches fire but the occupants jump out
Hyderabad: Jagat Vikhyat Reddy, son of late YSRCP leader Shobha Nagireddy, had a narrow escape on Wednesday when the car in which he was travelling accidentally caught fire near Begumpet here.
However, no one was injured in the incident as Vikhyat Reddy and three others got down the vehicle in time after noticing smoke emanating from the bonnet of the car.
They were going from Jubilee Hills to Uppal to watch the IPL cricket match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
