Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Friday warned TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao against making provocative statements over the division of employees between the two proposed States – of Telangana and the residuary Andhra Pradesh.

In a statement, YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy strongly condemned KCR’s comments. He said it was not good on the part of KCR to use threatenting language.

The TRS chief in the past said that the people of the two sides should divide like brothers but was now targeting the non- Telangana employees on their nativity status, Jagan added.

Extending his party’s support to the employees, he also sought an immediate intervention of Chief Minister-designate of AP N Chandrababu Naidu into the issue and urged him to protect the interests of the employees.

Jagan said that the Centre and Governor ESL Narasimhan owed responsibility in creating confidence among the Seemandhra employees who were in despair on their future.
