Hyderabad: Director General of Police (DGP) B Prasada Rao responded on the flash strike launched by as many as 75,000 electricity employees in the State and warned that strict action would be taken against those who violate the law in the name of flash strike. He advised the employees to resolve their issues by holding discussions with the government and higher officials in an amicable way.

“We will take strict action against those employees who try to create any kind of impediments for power supply to households, organisations or manufacturing units in the State,” the DGP stated. He reviewed the situation with the officials and directed them to take adequate security measures to avoid any untoward incident at Vidyut Soudha, power sub-stations, railway tracks and other key establishments. Prasada Rao also spoke to all the SPs and Commissioners concerned to take stock of the situation.
