KPTN Produces Only 370MW Power. Going with the strike undertaken by the KPTN employees concerning the implementation of PRC (Pay Rivision Commission), there has been a drastic downfall in the power production in the 11 Units of KPTN. Of a huge target of 1720 MW of power supply that is supposed to be generated by the said plant, only a meagre 370MW power is only being produced, as of now.

It is evident already there has been a hindrance for the production of 120MW supply due to the repair work in the Unit No. 8. A production of 250MW each has been taking place from the 3 units out of a total 7 units. If the same situation continues to persist, after a few hours the remaining units may also get tripped off.
