New Delhi: Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the TDP MP of Vijayanagaram Lok Sabha constituency, assumed the office on Thursday and held the responsibilities as the Union Minister for Civil Aviation. Later, he addressed the media and said that there was no dispute in Polavaram matter. He said that attempts were going on to make the issue critical, concerning the Polavaram project.
He said that in continuation to the ordinance issued by the UPA government, NDA had taken up the matter a step ahead. He reminded of the fact that it was the UPa government at the Centre that assured the construction of the Polavaram project. Further, he said that Civil Aviation was one of the basic needs and added that he would work transparently, by clearing all the hurdles one by one.
