Chandrababu Naidu: Tangirala Prabhakara Rao’s Death a Great Loss to Party, People. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on Monday said that the death of Tangirala Prabhakara Rao was a great loss to both the party and the people.
Hyderabad: Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on Monday said that the death of Tangirala Prabhakara Rao was a great loss to both the party and the people. He paid tributes to the deceased MLA of Nandigama in Krishna district, and later addressed the media. He said that he was not in a position to digest the news of death of Tangirala even at that time. He praised the deceased leader and said that he gave the best services to both the people and the party. He also said that Tangirala did his bets for strengthening up of the party in Krishna district, apart from getting a good name for self as an advocate.
It is evident that Nandigama MLA Tangirala Prabhakara Rao (60) died of cardiac arrest on Saturday midnight. The MLA along with the Irrigation Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao went to visit Pulichentala project where he had suffered a severe cardiac arrest immediately after Saturday midnight. An advocate by profession, he won as MLA for the second time on TDP ticket. He was born on May 1, 1950 at Paritala. Prabhakara Rao joined Telugu Desam Party in 1983 and was elected as MLA in 2009 and 2014. He married to Sri Pramila Kumari and is survived with a son and two daughters. Prabhakara Rao got elected under SC category seat in 2009 with a margin of 5215 votes over his nearest congress rival Velpula Pramaeswara Rao and in 2014 elections over his rival YSRCP candidate Dr.M Jagan Mohan Rao.
