Tirumala: The controversial monk Nityananada and her disciple Ranjitha who have been hibernated over a period of time were seen all of sudden at Tirumala, on Wednesday. The duo had swamy darshan during the VIP break time along with other disciples. The duo was seen in saffron clothes.

It is worth recollecting that Ranjitha, the Tollywood actress of yesteryears, who is more aptly known as Nityananda’s disciple, became a sanyasini in December last year. In a ritual ceremony that took place at a meditation center near Bididi in Karnataka, including Ranjitha, 40 people accepted nunnery. Later, Nityananda changed her name as ‘Maa Anandamayee’. In general, Nityananda celebrates his birthday on January, 1, every year. But, this year he celebrated his birthday on Friday based on Vedic calendar. During his birthday celebrations only, Ranjitha accepted her nunnery. The media was not allowed for coverage of the ceremony.

It is evident that the chief of Sri Jagadguru Basava Dharmapitham, Mata Mahadevi astonished over the issue. She said how Ranjitha can take nunnery, when a case is under progress on her. She said becoming a nun means following moral ethics, apart from serving the people with true heart. She opined that being a sanyasini is a very difficult task. She demanded Nityananda to come out and disclose the happenings inside his Ashrama.
