Hyderabad: Mandali Buddha Prasad, the Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh state assembly, on Monday assumed the chair and said that he was not in a position to digest the state bifurcation. He said that post state bifurcation; there were many problems that have come out. He said that the same would come into the light with the healthy discussions.

Mandali suggested that the members of the state assembly should utilise the question hour properly. He further suggested them to bring out the problems being faced by the people to the ruling government for their solution. He said that the decorum of the house should be maintained. He also said that by the end of their tenures, everybody should feel proud that they were the members of the house, while stating that it was utmost important to give respect to the house.

From the other end, Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on Monday said that Mandali Buddha Prasad was a unique leader in the contemporary state politics. He congratulated Mandali after he was appointed as the Deputy Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh state assembly. Naidu said that Buddha Prasad has given his best as the Official Language Chairman. He also said that Mandali has done his best to Dakshina Bharata Hindi Prachara Sabha.

Also, YS Jagan, the leader of opposition in the state assembly, congratulated Mandali Buddha Prasad upon the latter getting the Deputy Speaker post. He addressed the house and expressed his confidence in Buddha Prasad that he would follow all the norms of the house and behave impartially.
