It is a visionary budget: AP CM

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu feels that the central budget is a 'visionary budget' with an element of development. Speaking to media persons at Lakeview Guest House, the Chief Minister said the budget gives priority to IITs and IIMs in AP. He felt that the development of the national industrial corridor between Vizag and Chennai would boost the economy and the Kakinada Hardware Park would solve the unemployment problem in the State.

The budget, he said, indicates that the Centre wants to put the country on the right economic path. However, he asked the Union Finance Minister to focus more on long term goals.

The budget would resolve issues like drinking water, housing and education. It has also given high priority to solar energy, he said. The budget allocated some amount towards resource gap for the State but it was not enough, he added. He exuded confidence that the State would soon be on the path of development and would emerge as one of the top States in the country.
