Already the counselling in Andhra Pradesh has begun few days ago but the future of Telangana students is in a sort of predicament. The students get frightened that the seats in prominent colleges may be filled up if they won’t take part in the ongoing counselling being undertaken by Andhra Pradesh state.
According to sources, the first 2 days of Certificates Verification, at least 781 students of Telangana visited the Helpline centres in AP and got their certificates verified. As the entrance exam is common for both the regions, Students can go to any certificate verification centre in the two states. It is said that many students from Telangana went to Vijayawada for verification. However, Telangana officials say those students from OU who got their certificates verified in AP could be those not requiring or not eligible for the Financial Assistance for Students of Telangana scheme.
