Missing woman techie traced to East Godavari

• Married to Karthik two years ago, Bhavyasri works for a Madhapur Co
• She missed the Co car and took a pvt cab on Thursday morning
• Her mobile signals traced to Tuni, Annavaram and Vizag areas

Hyderabad: The woman software engineer Bhavyasri who was missing since Thursday was traced to a place in East Godavari district on Friday night.

According to police, Bhavyasri, hailing from Vijayawada, is an employee of Open Text Technologies in Madhapur. She was married to Karthik Teja two years ago. The couple stays in KPHB Colony Phase VII. Karthik is a hardware engineer. Police said Bhavyasri missed her company cab on Thursday and hence she took a private cab around 8.25 am. Soon after she boarded the cab, she sent an SMS to her husband that she was on her way to the office. An hour later, Karthik tried calling her, but there was no reply. Karthik said he thought that she was busy with her work. But as she did not answer his calls even after several hours and as he started getting the message that her phone was switched off, he got worried.

When she did not return home till late evening, Karthik contacted her colleagues who told him that she did not report for duty. Karthik and other relatives launched a search for her and lodged a complaint with the KPHB police around 11 pm.
"Karthik and Bhavyasri are a happy couple and they have no differences,” Madhapur Additional DCP Srinivas said.
