Three young and dynamic graduates have decided to provide a platform for fellow students and give them a chance to step into the shoes of an entrepreneur. It was just an idea that flashed their minds a few months ago and the result is the hosting of a huge two-day conclave in December.
Siddharth Marupeddi, Sachin Koundinya and Yalamanchili Chaitanya came together and floated StartupOxide and have set December 27 and 28 for the mega gathering of young entrepreneurs and representatives of big companies from across the country. They are inviting the Andhra Pradesh government to partner the event as that would boost the image of the State as well as young entrepreneurs.
“Our mission is to establish a robust start-up community and culture in Andhra Pradesh by connecting passionate young talent and to make Andhra Pradesh the start-up capital of India. The fest will be run by an awesome team of entrepreneurs, students, and volunteers. It will be the largest conference for ‘Andhrapreneurs’, where hundreds of start-up founders, students, mentors, investors, and visionaries meet, share, learn, and collaborate,” asserts Siddharth.
The team is expecting around 2,500 delegates and attendees for the fest with profiles ranging from start-up founders, entrepreneurs, CEOs etc.
“We are on talks with AP IT ministry to partner with ‘The StartAP Fest 2014’. Around 35 speakers and 10 companies will be present on 2 days delivering a world class agenda.
There will be 6 tracks, 8 Partner sessions and 6 Power Talks (20 Minutes each) addressing the gathering.
“The students can attend any of the sessions which will be conducted simultaneously and choose their field of interest. This will give an option for young brains to work and be partners of the new State of Andhra Pradesh,” Siddhartha beams.
