The mandal Tahsildar as nodal officer, Agriculture officer and the bank manager concerned as members of these committees would attend the grievances at the mandal-level. The grievances can be referred to the RDO as appellate authority if they were not solved at the mandal-level and final appeal could be made to the district-level committee, if necessary, she said.

Stop illegal mining of sand
The Collector directed the RDOs to take steps to prevent illegal mining of sand, if any, and initiate action as per the provisions of law and directed them to take the assistance of police, if necessary.

She said there were reports on illegal mining and this activity should be stopped.
Reviewing the progress of allotment of ‘lanka’ lands to the beneficiaries, she asked the officials to take up a survey of such land and allot the same to the eligible people for their livelihood. Renewal of previous allotment should also be done, she said.

Regarding allotment of land to government sanctioned projects, Ms Neetu Prasad told the officials that sanction would be given for advance possession to take up projects without any delay.
