Illegal flexis in AP, Telangana to go

Fed up of seeing life size posters of unknown politicians on the roads? Fret not, they all will soon disappear from walls. The Hyderabad High Court has directed the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to take off unauthorised cutouts, flexis, and statues of celebrities and politicians.

"It has become a rampant practice. Display of such huge cutouts and flexies will cause inconvenience not only to the people, but will also cause embarrassment to the VIP or the celebrity who is displayed," said Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta.
