Guntur: Farmers of Nelapadu village in Thulluru mandal on Friday formally commenced the process of handing over consent letters with regard to parting with their lands to the government for the capital, near here, on Friday.
The entire village unanimously gave consent letters to an extent of 1,417.5 acres. Municipal Administration Minister Dr. Narayana was also present. He received the letters and handed them over to the Revenue department officials.
Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Commissioner Nagulapalli Srikanth was present. Addressing the farmers,he congratulated them for investing their lands for building a world class capital.
