Singapore Minister to tour Vizag, V’wada, Tirupati
Singapore Trade and Industry Minister S Iswaran along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati on January, meeting industrialists in the State. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Communications Advisor to the government Parakala Prabhakar said Iswaran along with Naidu would attend an industrialist’s meet at Visakhapatnam on January 13.
Hyderabad: Singapore Trade and Industry Minister S Iswaran along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati on January, meeting industrialists in the State. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Communications Advisor to the government Parakala Prabhakar said Iswaran along with Naidu would attend an industrialist’s meet at Visakhapatnam on January 13.
This would be followed with an aerial tour of Tulluru, the capital city area in the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region area, for which the Singapore government is extending its expertise in drafting a master plan for building the State’s capital city. Later, the visiting dignitary would fly down to Tirupati and interact with industrialists and intellectuals and will have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Tirumala Hills.
Prior to this, the Chief Minister would go to Delhi to take part in the Indo-Australian Summit to explain the States government’s investor-friendly policies and to invite prospective investors to come to Andhra Pradesh for setting up their companies. On January 15, Naidu would meet Central Ministers to discuss various issues pertaining to the State. Prabhakar has also clarified that the Republic Day celebrations would be held at Vijayawada this year and senior officials were asked to make necessary arrangements for the same.
