AP govt’s e-biz portal soon to woo investors

The Andhra Pradesh government is set to launch an ‘e-biz’ web portal next month to make it easier for investors to obtain licences and permissions for business, according to The Echo of India. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting on the proposed portal last week, where he was given a presentation on it.

“So far, the investors have to go through lengthy processes to obtain permissions for setting up industries. The portal would make it easy to get permissions from anywhere in the world,” said Parakala Prabhakar, adviser (communications) to the State government.
