Two-Day Tobacco Expo in Guntur from Today. Tobacco Board is conducting a two-day exhibition on March 9 and10 at the local Indian Tobacco Association hall for the benefit of traders and exporters, according to Tobacco Board Chairman K Gopal, in a press release here on Sunday.

Different grades of Flue Cured Virginia (FCV) tobacco being produced in different parts of Andhra Pradesh during the current 2014-15 season would be displayed at the exhibition. In the context of auctions for sale of FCV tobacco in AP commencing from March 11, it was felt necessary to give first hand information on the quality of produce to tobacco traders.
This was to facilitate the trades to participate in auctions. Gopal said it would be an opportunity for the global merchants, manufacturers, exporters and dealers to examine all FCV samples soil-wise, variety wise, grade wise.
