Vizianagaram: CPM politburo member B V Raghavulu criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for implementing the World Bank directives as their own policies. They were amending the enactments accordingly, he alleged.
Raghavulu said that such policies might be suitable for the countries like Singapore and Japan but not for India. He participated in a conference organised by Teachers and Employees Study Circle at the ZP Conference hall here on Sunday.
Raghavulu said the frustration that erupted in the corporate sector paved the way for Modi. Thus the government was implementing the policies at the whims of corporate directions, he alleged.CPM state executive committee member M Krishnamurthy, district secretary Tammineni Suryanarayana, UTF state leader K Vijayagouri and other teachers were present.
