Unseasonal rains played havoc in Rayalaseema and parts of Telangana on Monday disrupting normal life in many towns and left hundreds of villages under darkness as Gail winds uprooted electrical poles. While six were killed in electrocutions, wall and tree collapses in AP, ten were killed in Telangana in the rains of last two days, say officials.

Giving an account of damage in Andhra Pradesh, State Agricultural Minister Prattipati Pullarao said that horticultural crops in 1594 hectares and power supply affected in 100 villages.
