YSRCP alleges conspiracy to make R’Seema a desert
YSRCP MLA from Kurnool S V Mohan Reddy lashed out at both the Chief Ministers N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao for bringing Srisailam reservoir to condition of drying up and feels that there seems to be a conspiracy to make Rayalaseema a desert region. Speaking to the media, at their office, here on Tuesday, Mohan Reddy alleged that the water level in Srisailam fell to 800 feet.

Kurnool: YSRCP MLA from Kurnool S V Mohan Reddy lashed out at both the Chief Ministers N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao for bringing Srisailam reservoir to condition of drying up and feels that there seems to be a conspiracy to make Rayalaseema a desert region. Speaking to the media, at their office, here on Tuesday, Mohan Reddy alleged that the water level in Srisailam fell to 800 feet.
“This kind of situation never prevailed in last 10 years and this bleak situation arose because of improper planning by both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chief Ministers who are releasing water inappropriately” he said and added “There seems to be a conspiracy being hatched to make Rayalaseema a desert region by both the chief ministers” he alleged. He also said that both the Chief Ministers could have been in jail, if they had committed such acts in a foreign country.
Urging both Chief Ministers to extend help to Rayalaseema people immediately, Mohan Reddy said that Chandrababu, who was born and brought up in Rayalaseema, is doing injustice to his native region. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu is developing other regions with revenue earned out of Rayalaseema region and demanded Naidu to spend money earned out of red sanders sale on Rayalaseema development. “Chandrababu Naidu seems to be least bothered about the poor plight of people in Rayalaseema region” he said.
